It's that time again when European Movement members and supporters in Staffordshire get together to look back on our achievements of the past year and look forward to our future campaigning.
And what a year it was!
Please join us for our Annual General Meeting 2024, with guest speaker Madeleina Kay, to be held on Monday 2nd September at 19:00 via Zoom.
Madeleina is the European Movement's Youth Engagement Officer, working with the Young European Movement to mobilise support for the European Movement from young people across the UK.
Madeleina was awarded Young European of the Year in 2018 and the Charlemagne Youth Prize in 2020. She has worked as a Social Media Campaigner and Communications Consultant, collaborating with grassroots networks, youth led movements and foundations across Europe. She is currently studying MA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins.
We think we've moved the dial and that attitudes across Staffordshire are changing. Responses to our Face the Music and Erasmus+ campaigns have been far more positive than our previous campaigns.
People across Staffordshire, already wondering if Brexit is exacerbating the cost of living crisis, are also beginning to realise what else they have lost.
With the recent change of government now is the time to step up our campaign. We are no longer banging our heads against the ideology driven Brexiteers. It's time to build on the foundations we have laid.
So what can you do to help? The first thing is to register for and then join the meeting at 19:00 on Monday 2nd September.
