Alone!

Never has the UK been so alone.

It didn't need to be this way, even after Leave won the 2016 referendum by a small margin. We could have stayed in the Customs Union or the Single Market but the extreme Tory government decided to pull the UK out of every EU institution it possibly could.

The net result is the complete isolation of the UK in Europe, with massive non-tariff barriers to trade with our closest partners. It is hard to see how this can possibly be in our best interests - and the Office of Budget Responsiblity (OBR) has concluded our long-term Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will be damaged by a massive 4%, or £155 billion as a result.

Alone in Europe, a laughing stock internationally, and every one of us poorer - this is NOT what anyone but the most rabid populist voted for.

The consequences lie with the Tory government and them alone.

They must be held to account for it every second they are in power - it's entirely on them!
